Cookies, storage and your browser
Updated 2 November 2026
Chefzfoodis uses a simple presentation website: explore the food, read about the restaurant and open the contact page when you want to write to us. This page explains what the supplied code does with browser storage and where an external connection is used. It should be read alongside the privacy notice.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small piece of information associated with a website that a browser can store and return on later requests. Depending on its purpose, it might remember a preference, keep a session active or support measurement. Local storage and session storage are separate browser features that can also retain information on an device.
2. Storage used by this site
The supplied Chefzfoodis code does not create or read cookies. It does not use local storage or session storage, create a visitor identifier or maintain a customer session. There is no account login, saved shopping basket, online checkout or booking form. The mobile-menu script changes the visible navigation state only while the page is open.
There is therefore no site-script cookie name, cookie lifespan or stored preference to list for this version. The code does not include a marketing-cookie switch or treat continuing to browse as an agreement to future tracking. Any later addition of storage or tracking should be assessed and explained before it is used.
3. Cache is different from a tracking profile
Your browser may keep copies of photographs, stylesheets or icons to make repeat page loads faster. This is ordinary browser caching and is different from a profile created by a site script. Clearing cached files may make the next visit download them again. It does not delete messages kept in your own email account.
4. Fonts and externally requested resources
The site requests Roboto from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to that service to retrieve the typography files, and technical request details may be received by its provider. Google’s own information explains how its services handle those requests. If you block the external font, the browser can display a standard fallback font instead.
Restaurant photographs, the illustrative lounge image, icons and the favicon are included in the site files. No social media feed, external video player or interactive map is embedded. There are no advertising or audience-measurement scripts in the project. These statements concern the supplied code rather than extensions installed in your browser or tools added later by a hosting provider.
5. What happens when you email us
Opening hello@chefzfoodis.com may start an installed email program or a webmail service chosen in your device settings. The restaurant website does not control that application. Its sign-in cookies, message storage and privacy settings belong to that separate service. You can cancel the draft without sending anything or type the address into your preferred mail app yourself.
6. Checking your browser settings
Most browsers let you review site data in their privacy or security settings. Search for chefzfoodis.com in the relevant list if you want to inspect or remove data associated with this domain. The names of these settings vary between devices and browser versions. A private-browsing window may limit what remains after it closes, but it does not prevent the requests needed to load a page.
If you notice unexpected tracking or stored data, tell us the page, browser and approximate time. Avoid sending a full screenshot that exposes information from another website. We can use the details to distinguish the site code from a browser extension, hosting feature or external email service.
7. Changes and questions
Future features could change this description. If a reservation tool, advertising service or measurement system is introduced, the relevant purposes, providers and storage should be documented. Questions about the present website can be sent to hello@chefzfoodis.com. You can also find the restaurant address and telephone on our contact page.
